Iulian Stepanov is an analyst in valuations at Fiera Comox.
In his role, Iulian is responsible with the valuation process, modeling, and establishment of investments fair value across Fiera’s private investment strategies.
Prior to joining Fiera Comox, Iulian held previous financial and equity analyst positions at a hedge fund as well as various investment banks. Iulian is a finance professional with extensive experience in equity research, financial modeling, and M&A. Iulian launched his professional career with three internships during his time at Concordia University, gaining early experience at Elekta, Pratt & Whitney, and National Bank. He then transitioned into a full-time role at the Canadian hedge fund Galliant Advisors.
Iulian holds a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University where he was on the Dean’s List and served as investment analyst for the Sustainable Investing Program sponsored by Manulife: a program with the mandate to showcase that investment returns aren’t mutually exclusive from sustainability.
