William Blanchard MBA, B. Sc. , CFA

William is a Senior Principal on the Agriculture team at Fiera Comox.

William brings a blend of strong transaction and corporate finance experience, together with on-the-ground finance leadership working in an operating business.  Prior to joining Fiera Comox, William was Head of LionCapital Solutions at Lion Electric, where he established and led the company’s division offering innovative financing and carbon credit solutions tailored to medium-and heavy-duty vehicles, while also leading broader strategic corporate initiatives. Prior to that, William was a Director in Investment Banking at BMO where he spent more than 8 years and was responsible for relationship management, deal origination and the execution of M&A and capital markets financing transactions for clients across a broad range of industries including food, consumer & retail, technology and industrials. Before that, William worked at Aon Hewitt where he advised pension funds and institutional investors on their investment strategy.

William holds an MBA from HEC Montréal, a B. Sc. in Actuarial Sciences from University of Québec in Montréal (UQAM) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
