Vice President, Sustainable Investment
Caroline Samson is Vice President, Sustainable Investment, at Fiera Comox.
In her role, she collaborates with Fiera Comox’s investment specialists to advance sustainability integration across the firm’s investment and monitoring activities. She also conducts research and analysis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics and contributes to the development of Fiera Comox’s sustainability policies and practices.
With over a decade of experience in sustainability, Caroline has held roles at Desjardins, in sustainable financing, at PSP Investments, focusing on ESG risk materiality, and at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), in ESG risk and in responsible investment. In parallel, she has been a member of the Comité de surveillance des placements of Gestion FÉRIQUE, for which sustainability is an area of focus. Prior to specializing in sustainability, she worked in financial analysis and in telecom engineering.
Caroline is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in Finance, from Université Laval and a financial engineering degree from École de technologie supérieure de Montréal.
