Anaïs Vidal is Vice President and Head of Legal at Fiera Comox.

Anaïs has over 15 years of experience in corporate and transactional law, with recognized expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and asset management. She has worked at leading international law firms as well as at a major Paris-based family office, before joining the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

More recently, Anaïs held the position of Director, Global Legal Affairs at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where she advised international private equity teams on a wide range of investments and strategic transactions, primarily across the Americas. In this role, she led the structuring and negotiation of complex transactions, ensured regulatory compliance in cross-border contexts, and supported the implementation of innovative financing solutions.

Prior to joining the Caisse, Anaïs served as Group General Counsel at FIMALAC, a diversified holding company active in digital, entertainment, real estate, and private equity. She advised the founder and executive committee and oversaw the entire legal function of the group, including strategic transactions, governance, financing, and compliance. She was notably responsible for major international transactions, including the sale of the group’s stake in Fitch Ratings for USD 2.8 billion.

She began her career in private practice at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and DLA Piper in Paris and London, where she advised industrial groups and investment funds on international mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

In her role at Fiera Comox, Anaïs oversees all legal matters for the firm and provides strategic guidance to the organization. She acts as a strategic partner to investment teams, particularly in investment structuring, asset management, and fund operations.

Anaïs is a member of the Quebec and Paris Bar associations. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master’s degree from Université Paris-Dauphine.
